Vaikom is synonymous with paddy fields, coconut and arecanut gardens, Puzhyoram[riverside], Kayaloram[lakeside] and small streams.
	House		Spacious Double storied House situated right by the side of Muvattupuzha river. Two well maintained and fully furnished rooms that opens to the terrace of first floor with a very good view into the river. The sit-out of the house is over the river. Enjoying Monsoon from the sit-out is a marvelous experience.

	Tourist Attractions		Very Near to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Pathiramanal Island [a natural island in Vembanad lake], Kochi etc.; which is accessable by boat/ House boat. Mattancherry, Fort Kochi, Bolgatty Palace, Marine Drive, Jewesh street, Chineese fishing nets etc. are the main tourist attractions in Kochi. Thekkedy, Periyar Lake, Kuttikkanam and Vagamon are other attractions...
	Local Attractions		Vaikom is only 3 Km away, where the Mahadeva temple is situated. The temple, which is also known as Thenkassy is famous for the Vaikom Sathyagraha Struggle for the backward classes. Numerous Plantations, a typical Kerala village etc are only walkable distance from Village Beauty Home Stay. A stay in the Chineese fishing net appartus can be arranged.
